    Nearly half of households in south central Indiana are in, or one emergency away from, poverty -- including 30% of households with children and 43% of senior (65+) households.
  • 46% of Families on the Financial Edge
    Across our region, families work hard but still struggle to make ends meet – much less save for a stable future. Living paycheck to paycheck while hovering at or falling below the poverty line is the reality for 46 percent of families in Monroe, Brown, Greene, Lawrence, Orange, and Owen counties.

    Provides a homebound senior with 16 delivered meals.

    Provides an eye exam and new glasses for a young learner.

    Provides a child with one-on-one tutoring for the school year.

    Provides rent assistance to 10 families so they can stay in their homes.
